The rev turned in the fiction demo a few days before he passed. The other singer is him, they left a few of his vocal lines in

The most underrated is Victim. To me it's the perfect song.

Fiction was originally titled Death, turned in a day after Christmas by The Rev. He recorded those precious last vocals and the piano before his passing 3 days later.

I read somewhere that the extremely nasal tone in that part of “Fiction” — the one you found strange — was actually The Rev intentionally altering his voice to mimic M. Shadows’ signature singing style, which often has a naturally nasal quality.

Also, just a heads-up about The Stage: it’s a conceptual album, meaning all the songs revolve around connected themes like space, artificial intelligence, nuclear war, human enhancement through technology, and similar topics.
Great reaction again, it’s been a great journey 🙌

The hate that this band receives will always baffle me. They’ve always been great in my opinion, and nothing about them is considerably bad.

This album can be said to be dedicated by the entire band to the late drummer: James Owen Sullivan (The Rev). You can also notice on the cover, on the tombstone, the inscription Forever, where REV is in larger letters. We know from the band that the album was almost finished in terms of demos, even before his death. Drummer Mike Portnoy participated in the studio recording. For The Rev, he was one of the role models, unfortunately they never met in person. So when the band wrote to him, he didn't hesitate and finished the album with them. He even went on tour with them.

Mike Portnoy, tried to imitate the demo recordings as much as possible to complete the album. He said it wasn't that hard because I heard a piece of myself in it.
If I'm not mistaken, the song: So Far. Originally written by Synyster Gates for his late grandfather.

The song Fiction was originally titled Death. The Rev reportedly finished it just three days before his death. You can hear his vocals from the demo being used on it.
Interesting fact: It's the only A7X song where there are no guitars...

Correction: There's also one song on the latest album that doesn't have guitars.

I forgot

Otherwise M. Shadows
He had problems with his vocal cords. After the second album, he had to switch to a different singing style. That's why he doesn't scream as much anymore, or in a different way than before. I think he had another surgery between the 6th and 7th album. I don't remember exactly.

Nightmare isn't the main EE song nor was it written for Moon, its different to the usual EE songs w/ teddy bears to activate it. It can only be done in co-op, one person has to get stuck in the spawn room by letting both excavators dig in to tunnels 6 and 11. Once there is one person trapped there's two ways of getting to the other side on his own; either by dying or by letting the space man teleport you to the other side. Nightmare activates if the person dies and then spawns in the other side on the next round.
A metric shit ton of us A7X fans got into the band through COD zombies. Me and 4 of my best buddies all got into the band through BO2 origins intro cutscene. They did alot for metal through their appearances in the various cod games

Buried Alive is one of my favorites. Love the channel too. Get ready for the drunks hating on this band
