Great video - the game is a real favourite of mine. Like you, I play true solo. Here's what I use to 'smooth the way'. In solo, it's not what you have, but what you DON'T have that makes the difference. So use the First player token as a 'Hero' token. Each turn, you may spend the 'her'o token to give 1 of 4 effects: Place a resource on a Hero OR Ready a Hero OR Heal 1 wound from a Hero OR add +1 to a chosen stat (WIL, ATK, DEF) to a Hero until the end of a round. This gives you options depending on your situation. Try it out.

This is my favorite solo board game of all time. I've been playing it since 2012.
Of course I'm a Tolkien super fan and it helps making this so delightful to me, but the game system alone is great.
Nice video!

I mean this game is amazing multiplier. Playing three player is such a riot. Great memories of it! I really recommend playing multiplayer since there’s so much cooperation bc the decks are so complicated one person can’t meta game it

I got all the revised L.O.T.R. LCG stuff just in time, since Fantasy Flight Games is dropping it like a hot patato😡

I only play true solo as well, while I know it's more difficult for some scenarios I still don't mind it. Thanks for this wonderful video on one of my fav Solo games and IP ever. Just curious did you play the other LCGs? and what do you think of them?
