I’ve followed this case from day one. Read all I could about it. Watched every documentary I could get my hands on. The thing that strikes me about friends and acquaintances of Chris is that nobody has really provided any new or profound information that helps this make any sense. To me, Chris was empty. Benign. Was told what to do. Went through the motions of life. Felt no real emotions except, in the end, lust. People try to make sense of this but there is no sense to make. People believe Chris must have had some emotional outburst or psychological break but I believe it’s the exact opposite. His lack of emotion and his fundamental lack of personality, action, or reaction, are exactly why most people with feelings and personalities find it extremely difficult to understand or comprehend why he did what he did. I believe he was an empty shell with one base human emotion and that was lust. Pure and simple. When you’re dead inside, annihilating your entire family wouldn’t even raise your blood pressure. Nobody really knew Chris because he was unknowable. Just my two cents.

What the heck has LOVE got to do with anything when you’re dealing with a psychopath.

I look at his face and I try to understand how someone can do that to their children and I just can't even wrap my mind around it

I'm glad Dieter survived at least. Pets always get forgotten about, but their lives are effected too.

I have the feeling that, as soon as SW walked in that door at 2am, things were already in motion.

Actually in social settings some psychos tend to distance themselves from conversations that might give insight to who they are. They will hang out with children to avoid being studied too hard. It's so scary but true, they love playing with kids and giving off a persona of this amazing human.
