  I had the 32v DOHC 4.6 in a 1998 Mark VIII LSC. Smooth, economical until the tach passed 3K and the second set of intake runners opened up.  A few seconds of full throttle to overtake and I would be hitting 90.  Heavy car but it would definitely haul the mail.  Never did anything to it besides oil changes, spark plugs and a tuner chip.  When I sold it at 290K miles it still didn’t use a quart between changes.  GREAT engine!

  My modular 5.4 2 valve has 427,000 miles and still runs perfectly.  There are many 4.6s and 5.4s with many many more miles than mine.

  Just built a 4.6 32v for my Aviator. Expensive parts but what a great engine.

  John Colletti (Mr. Horseower himself) knew what he waa doing in the 90s. Today, here we are with Coyote V8 being the Teskid's descendant and being one of the best v8s in the whole world.

UsDM finally took notes from JDM

  I&apos;m impressed by Caterham (UK) putting the Ford Duratec 2 liter, 4 cylinder, supercharged, 310 HP into their version of what was the Lotus Super 7, making the under 1000 pound car a 620 HP per ton pocket rocket BEAST. Colin Chapman&apos;s club racing kit car is now a street-legal muscle car - available as track or street trim - but neither is very practical as an only car. With no doors a roll cage, entry and exit are athletic, and with a passenger there&apos;s little to no &nbsp;place for groceries or even a backpack. Open exhaust means your neighbors will KNOW!!!!!! about any early or late launches.
