12 years old, my first crappy acoustic, Mexican weed, Neil on my tape deck in my bedroom playing repeatedly till I figured out "The Needle and the Damage Done". Dazed and Confused till this day! There are great guitar players, great songwriters, great humanitarians. Only one Neil Young!:hand-purple-blue-peace:&❤.( That's Neils longtime backup band- Crazy Horse).

My favourite guitar style is when you can. Clearly hear every single note.

Funny you should mention Kurt. I promise you Kurt heard himself some Neil.

Check out “Rust Never Sleeps” from beginning to end. First half acoustic/mellow second half electric/grunge. He is the godfather of grunge. Dave Matthew’s and Warren Haynes of Gov’t Mule doing a cover of this and they also have a few other Neil Young covers the6 did together. Warren Ha6nes is an amazing guitarist and has that almost raspy but smooth blues rock voice I think you might like.
🤛😎👍✌️🤟🤙
🔥🌳🌬️💨

Every live version of this is different, some rock a little more. All varied lengths.

Neil Young is also the featured guitarist for REM for a song called “Country Feedback” 10\8\98 Shorline Amphitheater and turns a 3 minute song into over 9 minutes and it’s a vibe! 🔥🌳🌬️💨
