  1d4 Nf6 2 Bf4 c5 is a really good system. Note also the early trap that occurs after 3 Nf3 cxd4! - IE 4 Nxd4?? e5! and if 5 Bxe5 Qa5+ followed by Qxe5 - I&apos;ve had this countless times even at correspondence chess against 1700 -1900 rated players who just don&apos;t seem to be thinking hard so early in the game... - so no need for 2...e6 when you know this great system.
