  My skates come on Sunday. After my fiancé’s passing I’ve been really depressed. Ive gained so much weight and feeling ashamed. I’ve always liked skating so hopefully this gets me moving. Maybe I’ll even make some friends. I know if I keep myself busy. I will be able to clear myself of this mental fog and start living again. Thank you for the inspiration.

  I&apos;m practicing at home. First on the carpeted floor, &nbsp;then I tried the wooden floor, and I felt like I was sent to another world. &nbsp;Scary!! I made it to the rough tiled floors. Thank God for the walls! But I am glad atleast I made it to the tiled floor.

  What a great video. You progressed fast. <br>You&apos;re very blessed to have that community. <br><br>I loved skating in the 70s and 80s. And just bought a pair of moxi rainbows to learn in. Im 55 <br>When I was a kid I just put them on and did it. <br>But this time around, I&apos;m concerned about falling. So im process of buying protection Especially for the hips, and tailbone (which is very pronounced).<br>I&apos;ve bought skates for my grandchildren (10-13 yrs) &nbsp;and my 35 year old daughter. So it&apos;ll be fun learning together.

  Beautiful progression Camilia! I skated a lot as a kid, then several years into adulthood I got into roller blading. That was a looooggg time ago and now I just got my first pair of quad skates. First time quad skating outdoors but I will get the hang again at 53. This is great motivation! Keep rolling sis!

  I’m going to start my first classes next week and am TERRIFIED! Thank you for posting this vid! It makes me feel a little better that it’s possible to learn quickly if I practice

  🛼🩵 Your progression throughout the video was really cool to watch. I learned to skate when I was very young and can’t even remember how long it took me to get good but I still have so much to learn when it comes to the dancing on skates.
