  The thing about most religions is this -> When there are no constraints then anything is permitted. This is why religion is so easy and science is so hard. Science's constraint is reality and religion doesn't share this shackle so its free to make it up as it goes.

  The denial of these people believing that their god is good in the bible is like me denying that my ex gf was talking to other guys, we deny the truth because we just couldn&apos;t accept it, and that&apos;s why I&apos;m now a proud atheist, because I stopped lying to myself and I felt better soon after.

  It is difficult to leave religion or anything that you have spent so much time believing. No one wants to be wrong. Carl Sagan said this --<br>“One of the saddest lessons of history is this: If we&apos;ve been bamboozled long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We&apos;re no longer interested in finding out the truth. The bamboozle has captured us. It is simply too painful to acknowledge -- even to ourselves -- that we&apos;ve been (taken.)so credulous.   Look, Jesus has to run errands, tie up administrative loose ends, prepare his wardrobe, etc. This takes time.

  I could had written this book,<br>From the beginning of my 23 years &nbsp;of being a pastor I had to deal with this topic first hand. And became a pre preterism and looked on to full preterism and when I give up on it 2 years ago....then the clarity finally came to me. The promises never accomplished

  Man this is a great channel, i wish people had more interest in this kind of intellectual debates rather than pointless youtube channels, content creators of this type will usually get discouraged to continue posting but please do not give up.

  Paul didn&apos;t see any point in his followers getting married as he was sure that the second was &nbsp;coming real soon, &nbsp;then he started getting complaints that some of the brethren were dying of old age and still no second coming.
