  This video really hit home for me, I had such a bad breakdown yesterday cus I feel like i wasted 5 years of enjoying games just going for achievements, today im going to never look at achievements again and start enjoying games for the fun of it<br><br>Also, anyone else just skip cutscenes and dialogue cus you wanna speed thru a game for achievements<br><br>also also im one of the few psychos who 100%ed Rare Replay

  I feel like the value of gamerscore is so un-standardized as well. Sometimes I&apos;ve barely touched the controller and it&apos;s drowning me in achievements. Sometimes I have to sacrifice my first-born child for like 10 Gs. Like you said, it&apos;s definitely important to consider what you think is actually fun and rewarding. Overall, awesome video dude!

  Definitely relate to this. One of the things that really helped change my mindset was watching so many trophy/achievement hunters on YouTube skip dialogue and stories just to get the 100% <br>It made me question how much fun they are having and that made me question how much fun I’d been having. I also switched to steam and while the achievement sound is still nice I’m no longer concerned about the 100% and instead try and just have fun

  Playing the game correctly, already is the achievement, just by itself!<br>There was never a need for achievement systems in the past and it was a golden age of gaming.

  Definitely feeling this now as I made it my goal to hit 100,000 game score this year which I did get it recently but I didn’t feel joy I felt empty. Now as I play games I try not to worry about the achievements but I constantly get that feeling to look at the list and alter how I play the games
