Which 1980s household item did your family actually own that made absolutely no sense even back then, and what funny or chaotic memory do you still laugh about when you think of it?

Even in the 1980s, many people thought carpet in the bathroom was nasty.

😂 I've been married 46 years and still have the set of Ginsu knives I got as a wedding gift. I use them every day. They stay sharp

You missed out the doll with a knitted dress, that sat on the spare toilet roll on top of the toilet

I broke my neck and spine and was extremely glad that we own a waterbed..<br>Regular mattresses, no matter how many toppers you have, still are too rigid for spine issues. My waterbed supports me without pain so I can actually sleep

Those glass blocks looked cool and made the area they were in look cool as well.

I had a waterbed as a teenager, and I can’t lie, it was pretty amazing! I haven’t slept that well since.

God, I miss the 80s. If I could wake up tomorrow and relive the 1980s over and over again, I would be the happiest man on the planet.

My bathroom window is made of 5blockx4block of those glass bricks, and I absolutely LOVE it. It's south facing so it gets a TON of natural light. If I had the money, I'd make that window bigger using those glass bricks ❤🥰👍

My Grandma had a shaggy toilet seat and a doll with crochet skirt that covered an extra toilet paper roll. I miss her so much ❤
