Most people assume fast food burger chains are basically the same. Familiar names, familiar menus, and millions of loyal customers every single day. But when you start looking at ownership structures, sourcing decisions, inspection records, and the lawsuits quietly working their way through federal court, some of these chains tell a very different story. But once you look at who actually owns them now, what happened to the beef, and what the kitchen inspection reports actually say — the gap between the menu and reality becomes very hard to ignore. A couple of results on this list surprised even me. In this video, you'll find out: which chains are still sourcing and serving the real thing which ones have been quietly cutting corners for years the ownership patterns most customers never think to check and exactly what to order — or avoid — at each one The most surprising part?
