I was there. End zone seats and  Loudest crowd I've ever experienced. Most fun I've ever had at a WV game.

Damn shame they didn't show more Mountaineer defense the second half.  Those guys were playing out of their minds, won the game for us.

I was a Freshman at WVU and was at this game.  Wow, what a great game this was.

I had the privilege to attend this game.  We could not get tickets through WVU.  My sister-in-law’s uncle was a Boston College grad, and we were able to get tickets through him.  We sat in the Boston College section.  It was one of the best college football games I have ever seen.

Thank you for that! I remember it well and still think it might have been the finest football game I've ever seen in person. To be young, in love and a Mountaineer fan..it did not get any better than that fall night in 1984.

Was there for this game.  I remember it well.  And one more thing, Flutie NEVER beat WVU.  Period

I feel ya.. Flutie went on to bigger and better things that's for darn sure.. Two decades of pro ball for a 5'9 QB?? Amazing..
