This guy does such a good job at making you appreciate ships youve completely overlooked in the past

I love the GX1 Short Hauler, but the YV-929 is definitely my preferred choice for a cargo ship with teeth.

X-79B Phantom, heavily armed and fully stealth capable.

Gotta love those light freighters. Dreadnought class shields  armor and can keep up with a fighter in a dog fight...

Have the long duration hiding ship stashed in a nearby system and steal whatever is on hand to get you there. That leaves whoever is chasing you looking for the wrong ship.

Think I'd go for a Raider class.  Stock it with a B1 battle droid crew, strip out the quarters my family, friends, and I aren't using.  Put in some extra power, shielding, medical, and luxury.  While STILL having enough room for a couple support Vulture droids, and cargo space to run a transport business.

Hum the ZH-40,  the yv-929 or the yv-559 and of course the yt-1300 and 2400 are options but yeah I'd use a light freighter

From this list, give me the 929.  Armed to the teeth, and with a single pilot only being required... with the sheer number of droid cores from the clone wars or assassin type droids blasted but just about, hire your local Babu Frik to integrate an AI like Luthen Rael's into your gun controls... with the kind of power generation to power those weapons in that size ship, might even be able to power a portable carbon-freeze chamber to move some specialized cargo those who can pay for transport to earn money for resupply from time to time.
