Not me crying at her passing, i know she had so much extra time from that heart, but i would have wanted her to have more. Rest in peace Eva. Rest in peace Karen

The clock guy is such a captivating guy. Can he be in more episodes as a host or something? He is so well spoken and absolutely killed it on this episode.

My first job after getting my master’s degree in social work was at Fairfax Hospital. I started a few months after Eva’s transplant & one of my co-workers was Eva’s social worker on the transplant team. I can say w/ absolute certainty that Eva was exactly as they portrayed her here. She was an amazing human, & the day she left the hospital everybody who could was down there to watch. There wasn’t a dry eye among any of us. She had such a long run with that heart and was able to raise her kids, but it was just devastating when she ended up dying of Covid during the pandemic (2021, I believe) at the same hospital where she got her heart. RIP Eva … everyone was changed for the better after meeting you.

My husband got a heart transplant 2 years ago. He actually caught Covid in the transplant ICU and it damn near took him out. Even though it’s been decades since they first started transplanting hearts it is still a REALLY difficult recovery procedure. My husband was in the hospital for 8 months and your life changes dramatically even when you have recovered.

I’m so sorry that she lost her life due to Covid but I am sure her family is very grateful for the extra 35 years she got to spend on this earth
