  I think the best thing you’ve ever done is getting out of Babylon & going back to the wholeness of country living….I would be there in a heartbeat if I lived in the US

  Don't forget to tell folks about tornadoes 🌪 many folks have no idea there has been an uptick of severe weather w/ dangerous straight line winds, heavy rains and wide spread tornadic activity. 😮

  Sadly I'm leaving TN after 4 years, can't deal with this weather for the rest of my life, life is too short I'll pay the 10% in taxes if that gives me 70 degree days again. Gloomy for months in the winter. If I could have two houses, one in TN and one in CA I would but I'd leave for the winters for sure, can't do another winter here. SoCal absolutely ruined my tolerance for weather and I didn't realize it.

  Lived in Southern California for 41 years, military family. Moved to east &nbsp;Tennessee two years ago and love it. Finding fresh produce and quality food has been a challenge.<br><br>You can&apos;t really compare IT career with everyday life in Tennessee or even California. Most people live a simple life in both areas.

  California is a desert environment and the only reason there are green grass and plants is because every drop is brought in via aqua ducts from hundreds of miles away in the mountains .

  One thing you may want to know TN isn&apos;t California so if your going to move to TN and try to make it California you will be looked at as strange the people here are completely the opposite of cali and that way of life just a warning.<br><br>I would research it yourself before coming here because when you move here it may not be what you thought happy hunting 🙂

  One thing to note. Almost everyone in Tennessee is carrying a gun LEGALLY. Also we have at least four cancers to our State. Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville, and yes, Chattanooga. We hope we never have to invoke our 2nd Amendment rights in THESE areas, but we will if need be.
