  As someone who never experience toothache ever and seeing a lot of people close to me crying because of a toothache, it is still crazy that dental is not covered in medical insurance.<br><br>And for people who is calling out that dental work is for cosmetic purpose, why? I knew a lot of poor folks who couldn&apos;t smile because of rotted/missing/overly crooked teeth. Everybody should have the right to smile confidently, not just the rich folks.

  It’s wild to me that people can have sympathy for Luigi Mangione and have an understanding that healthcare costs are unreasonable but are upset that Jools simply asked for help with a medically necessary procedure that she couldn’t afford.

  The argument that she should &quot;just get a job&quot; is absolutely nonsensical. I have dental insurance through the 9 to 5 &nbsp;I have now. But because I didn&apos;t have it through my previous job, my teeth were in need of a deep cleaning. I went ahead and got it -- and the procedure was incredibly painful. And I still wound up owing $650 that I can&apos;t afford to pay. So yeah 9 to 5 does NOT equal affordable health care.

  We went from &quot;Free Luigi&quot; to &quot;Fuck Jools&quot; in such a short amount of time. Remember 2 years ago when we were all on the same page that healthcare in this country is a fucking joke and <b>something</b> needed to be done about it? Now all of a sudden &quot;influencers&quot; are the problem and they couldn&apos;t possibly have the same medical concerns as the rest of us? 🤦

  I have a 9-5, dental insurance, and an HSA. I have more medical/psychiatric/health needs than my HSA and insurance can allow me to afford. Preparing to go into some medical debt to see a dentist in a few months.

  She had a guardian article about how her catapulting into virality cause her to relapse into addiction (an illness), she was supporting her family, partnerships dried up after her moment of fame, brands trashed her to other brands, cancelled deals &amp; said she was bad to work with when packages were stolen from her &amp; she couldn&apos;t complete a brand deal on time, her agent dropped her. people have no compassion

  People need to show some compassion because like Franchesca and Caroline said, you cannot simply go back to a 9-5 and even if you do it&apos;s not instant money especially when cost of living is constantly sky rocketing. As someone who has worked a 9-5 for the last 7 years and have worked over 10 years of retail before that, I cannot afford a $70K surgery that I need to get a cyst removed from my brain (non cancerous, just headaches all day every day). Dental insurance also usually only covers a couple thousand dollars a YEAR. So when you need a surgery that is over $40K you are still paying almost all of it out of pocket. Also, I went back to school to get my Master&apos;s and even with my current and prior job experience and earning the hardest certification you can get in the field, I cannot get a job in the field. Hundreds of applications filled out and revamping my resume over and over and still nothing. This job market is TERRIBLE. Companies do not want to hire someone without direct and current experience in the job regardless of your academic or career accolades, let alone someone who has been primarily on social media and hasn&apos;t been working a normal 9-5 in a while.
