If you add a basic op amp mixer stage to the input of the chorus circuit (for the purpose of mixing the wet chorus output signal with the dry guitar signal) you will have a flanger 😊

Love it... Please keep these types of vids coming! Not just the build and test but including reading the schematic. Including that extra little bit shows that even though it looks intimidating. It can be done rather easily. That makes this type of project more accessible to beginners .

As an electronic tech since high school, i say "Hell yeah" to these videos. I also make guitar pedals and it's tru that they can be really cheap and, with some practice and/or help, really easy to build and even to design. Really cool chorus you made

The BOSS CH-1 (originally Analog using Matsushita MN3101/MN3007) used an IC that is essentially a PT2398. I happen to have one. It's much larger than the PT2399 though. I'm not sure how that compares to the 2399 but if you can find one, you can build a CH-1 (digital).

I’ve been watching these from the beginning. The way you’re moving the size of that breadboard is going to become a problem. 😂

I'm an anolog nerd, where do you get your electrical components? I just refurbish my stuff from throw away electrical stuff people don't want. But I want to start building this stuff to practice reading schematics better. And how do you prepare for such builds? Meaning do you gather all components, maybe that should be a video lesson. It's a big task to build electrical circuits. Or thats the way it seems to me. Enjoying your videos.
