Omg 😭 I’ve watched you since the beginning of your channel! I’ve fallen asleep to you as a nursing student, an ER nurse, and now a labor and delivery nurse who is way behind on sleep for my shift tonight 😂 Thank you for sharing your story, positive or negative, you’re very well spoken. Sometimes I feel like the experiences that aren’t sunshine or rainbows are some of the most crucial for expectant parents to hear. Birth is terrifying, it’s the most primal part of your life and, even tho most nurses don’t, I consider laboring patients to be ICU level or one to ones. Placental abruptions are extremely scary, I’m so grateful to hear that you two are okay and you got the care you needed.

I would love to hear your son’s birth story. I had a placental abruption a few hours into labor and had a very emergent c section. I love hearing the beautiful all positive stories, but it’s not fair, or even realistic.
