The big change of tone is due to the project switching hands from the Wayans brothers to David Zucker of Airplane and Naked Gun fame.

If you laugh once, you'll miss three more gags. One of the best parody franchises ever.

This is one of the best in the franchise imo. I know a lot of people are loyal to the Wayans and dismiss the ones after 2, but the team who made this film knew what they were doing and pulled it off exceptionally.

Brenda is like Kenny from South Park. She always dies in these movies but comes back every installment, haha.

I love it when Cindy tells Cody about the day he was born.

I feel like you guys forgot Brenda died in Scary Movie 1 as well

Death doesn’t matter from one movie to the next, hence why half the cast died in the first Scary Movie, and then returned for the second one

49:20 The greatest comedy actor of all times makes a short and clever callback to the movie (Airplane!) which has made him become a COMEDY actor and changed his life:goodvibes:
