I did this when I was 25. I bought my first block of land without any savings, credit history, no help from my parents or other family members. I just said to myself, " in 12 months I will have a deposit for a block of land - somewhere in Australia. " I was a taxi driver. My girlfriend left me and I just put my head down and went for it. The only thing I did wrong was I didn't repeat the process over and over. I am coming back to do it again at 57.

I had a foreclosure and a bankruptcy years ago. I’m smarter about the money I have now. I live simply, I travel a bit, I’m healthy and I’m grateful and joyful.

When people ask what I want I don’t answer with a money answer. I want to encourage others to go for their goals and dreams. I want to launch my goal planner with the desire to give busy people a place to develop and hone their goals and dreams. The money will come. ❤❤❤

Hi David, as I was watching this episode tonight I rewind es it about 7 times and took notes. In the last 10 minutes guess what happened? I made 2 sales. 🎉 thank you so much! Just yesterday I was thinking God always provides a roof over my head with food, why am I concerned with no job at this time that He won’t provide? He always has and always will, PERIOD. Interesting conversation about childhood experiences around money. I grew up in a huge family on a self sufficient farm. Big garden, raised our meat products, harvesting lots of wild plants and fruits, mother made 90% of what we ate including preserves,breads and butter. We grew up never talking about money. I never overheard my parents talking about money. We were taught to work for everything we wanted. Work, save, buy. There was credit. You saved to buy. My dad supported the family. My mom was a homemaker. We had nothing but we had everything. Money just really wasn’t a focus at all. At least in my mind. My kids were raised the same. They never knew if we were rich or poor.
