Thank you!

Low risk, high reward move by the Giants. JJM is almost certainly an upgrade and I'd expect him to be starting by week six. If he doesn't get injured, Giants can flip him for more than a 5th after the season. Majority of Vikings' fans are pissed about this trade.

Great work!

I believe McCarthy is actually a perfect fit for Harbaugh ball. More of a Game Manager type, run dominant offense, and he moves well! I don't hate trading a 5th round pick for a 1st round draft pick QB a couple years ago. Low risk, high reward.

He's young. Maybe we develop him into our long-term backup

Great point about the Harbaugh connection with Jim in Michigan also. Im sure Jim and John both spoke extensively about JJ and what he can do well to hopefully help this team through this difficult time. The mobility definitely helps the offense function more like Dart would. I know Schoen did a lot of homework on him also since he was a possible draft target for Giants. Contract is minimal, pick is minimal cost wise also. Considering what’s out there I don’t hate this at all. Winston has played very poorly unfortunately. I like management is at least attempting to improve this bad situation the Giants are in. Burns injury is brutal! Hits just keep coming! Appreciate you guys getting online and talking through the trade.
