  Fun fact: stormchasers are often the first people on site after a tornado causes damage as they intentionally position themselves in it's path meaning they are usually the first people to administer first aid and will often help direct first responders to the areas that took the most damage. Apparently they are also why we can get updates on tornados so quickly. If we relied solely on radar it can take multiple minutes between each update whereas with them it's live updates every time it changes strength or its path

  My husband and I had an arson attack on our home. We woke up by random at roughly 4AM and just happened to see the flames from the window. It was the ONE night our camera wasn&apos;t up due to some issues it had at the time.<br><br>Unfortunately, the man who did it has never been charged due to &quot;lack of evidence&quot; despite it being beyond reasonable doubt. We had a voicemail saved wherein he threatened to torch the lawn tractor (which he did, practically melting the bulk of it) and said he&apos;d ki-- us, but the police out here wouldn&apos;t do anything with it since it was no longer attached to his number (saved separately, which was a good thing given he stole the phone it was sent to anyway.)... The guy in question had just spent a month in jail after mugging us violently, getting an aggravated battery charge, and breaking an order of protection. The fire occurred the first night he was released.<br><br>Firemen were also incredibly stupid and knowingly used water on a portion of grease fire, spreading it TOWARD the house. Chief said there&apos;d be no investigation as they had no way to determine the cause. Even accused us of starting it.<br><br>I cannot wait to move to Texas. Illinois is horrid.

  Whats even scarier about that enderlin tornado is that it was not only upgraded to an ef5 due to knocking over carts weighing tons and even flinging some,but what you saw in the video wasn&apos;t even the tornado.You can see it at the bottom,but the larger part was just the mesocyclone,showing just how big it was.Absolutely scary stuff 💔💔

  Some cameras are more secure than others. The one I&apos;d get has an app that actually lets you manage or even restrict access. It will send you an alert to your phone if an unfamiliar device accesses the feed. You can then actually deny and even permanently block that device.
