this was one of the most confusing videos i’ve ever watched while doing an essay. I don’t care, it was good.

If I ever made a custom hotline Miami level, I would make Pardo say “I was born with thick foreskin” for no reason at all.

if pardo isn't the miami mutilator then why did he plant jack's wallet on alex's house??? he, at the very least, knew that jack was gonna get killed.

I feel there has to be some symbolism to the fact that Manny is the only one never visited by Richard, like is it because even the others have some subconscious knowledge that their probably gonna end up dying, whilst Manny was possibly too arrogant to either consider that

I've been having fun digesting everything you've put out, and although I still don't believe this is what Dennaton intended, it makes for an intriguing story that actually falls into some sort of logic. Now I kind of wish this was better explored in the game, or at least be included as an alternate interpretation, instead of you doing the detective work and having to resort to tiny details in order to make this video. Severely underrated! Someone needs to make a custom campaign out of this!

Primarily Pardo is a metanarrative exploration on the legacy of Hotline Miami and it's relation with clone games that seek to capitalize off the success of Hotline Miami (aka Jacket's story)

In the nightmare however, Pardo represents Dennaton and the puppet represents the clone games hence why the puppet claims he is is Pardo's "son".

I do think that Pardo is just the Mutilator because ultimately he's trying to just get media attention - much like how clone games try to get media and fan attention by basically copycatting a well known game.

As for your theory? Pardo was probably involved with the Masked Maniacs investigation and is probably spooked that they may have an agent in his apartment ready to strike (hence the 50B packages every neighbour has in Caught) his associations with the Russian mob is just due to the investigation process; he simply spoke with them and they told him they suspected there was a nationalist conspiracy going on. Fast forward and he thinks 50B are framing him to destroy him for being involved in investigating them, so he thinks he's being framed and then goes to their primary enemy: the Russian mob for protection.

Some thing that intrigues me the most is why Pardo was looking for Alex brother while having a hostage in his car trunk. It makes me believe that Ash had something to do with the Miami Mutilator too...

Perhaps I'm not understanding the story that well, but is the reason for Richard not visiting Pardo out of all the other characters due to there being this implied deeper story? If it was as simple as him being the Miami Mutilator so that he can become infamous and get a film (while still feeling some sense of regret and remorse for what he has done), wouldn't Richard be able to easily call him out and question his actions (i.e., if the story of Pardo is so straightforward, why couldn't Richard understand him)? Also, why is he afraid of the cops catching wind of his supposed murders if such a thing would need to happen in the first place in order for him to get this film made?
