  I will NEVER get tired of watching documentaries about the greatest,influential rock and roll band of all time discussing how the concept of recording the most influential album in the history of music EVER made.I could listen and watch this all day.God bless JOHN LENNON,PAUL MCCARTNEY, GEORGE HARRISON, RINGO STARR and of course,the "fifth" beatle,GEORGE MARTIN.

  In 67 I was 14. My best friend had just gotten the "new Beatles album" and wanted me to share the experience of hearing it for the first time. I rushed over to his house and we put it on his big old RCA record player with uts 15 inch woofer. We were both gobsmacked from the first note to that final unending chord at the end. Afterwards, we were quite literally speachless. I'm now 72 and its a day I still recall vividly. Sgt. Pepper has been with me my whole life.

  When I got my first copy the LP cover opened up and it came with a cardboard mustache and badges.<br>I got a second copy so I could cut out the inner picture of them and hang it on my wall. I actually went to school with one of the badges pinned to my shirt, no one knew what it was. I was such a geek.

  As it is today, the media was always looking for a negative spin to put on the Beatles. Sgt. Pepper&apos;s left them scratching their collective heads. The album was released in June of 1967 before the Summer of Love. So many firsts were achieved. First album with printed lyrics was only one example. An entire generation was mesmerized by the content.

  I was born in 1969. <br>Upon “discovering” the album as an 8 year old adolescent, Sgt. Pepper’s became absolutely everything for me. ❤️‍🔥💖❤️‍🔥

  my mother gave me an original copy of this album she had brought the day it came out as a teenager. She told me it was her most prized possession she owned. I still have it and i put it on occasionally and it is absolutely incredible...

  I was just leaving school when the Beatles brought out &apos;I wanna hold your hand&apos;. So glad I lived my life with many super groups like the Beatles and the Stones. &nbsp;There like will never come again.

  I remember in 1987 when i first bought the album on cd, (I bought all The Beatles CD’s as they were released) and I was absolutely obsessed with them. I was 15 years old and into Heavy Metal and here I was listening and obsessing over The Beatles. Great memories. 😊
