Gainesville, Florida. Retired. It is important to remember that these stories are primarily not true. Having said that, this is a pretty good story. I recommend it.

Though this is not true, as a retired RN, I have witnessed both.Münchausen syndrome & Munchausen syndrome by proxy. This was actually Munchausen syndrome by proxy.
“
Munchausen syndrome by proxy (MSBP), also known as factitious disorder imposed on another (FDIA) or medical child abuse, is a serious mental health condition and form of abuse where a caregiver fabricates, exaggerates, or intentionally induces physical or mental illness in a person under their care”

Adults also have Münchausen syndrome. The medical team couldn’t figure out why a patient was having symptoms of hypoglycemia. Turned out she had hidden an insulin bottle & was giving herself shots. (she was not diabetic.) A healthcare worker told her friends she had cancer. When they would offer to go with her for treatments, she turned them down. She also wore a colostomy bag. She did not have cancer and did not need a colostomy bag.

The need for attention is so sad and it is a mental disorder.

Gainesville, Florida. Retired. BE WARNED. Atleast for me, this was a terribly upsetting story. I come to YOU TUBE to be ENTERTAINED AND UPLIFTED. For those reasons , I can not recommend this story. I did mark it LIKE out of respect for the AUTHOR'S EFFORT.

Why would you demand an emergency landing miles away from where you need to be?
