BTS Is Being SABOTAGED By The Music Industry...

You know what's most interesting? This whole conversation about ARMY being scary and attacking people is just the cries of those who said horrible things about BTS and got their asses kicked by ARMY. Every situation starts the same way: people don't watch what they say, insulting BTS, ARMY defends BTS, and in the end, the one who tried to humiliate them says that he is the victim. I've been observing this pattern for over ten years. ARMYs generally never bother anyone until BTS gets involved in a situation where they're treated horribly.

I understand the hate now... I'm not a conspiracy theorist but its hard to argue the hate/ignorance. BTS isn't playing the game and they're going against the rules!! They're exposing the system, crazy!!

Absolutely true that YouTube rolls back views. When RM's song Come Back to Me dropped at midnight my time, I checked the stats an hour afterwards and saw that there were 187,000 likes, but only 5000 views. They'd rolled back views but hadn't changed the likes yet. The numbers were less sus looking by morning, but still not where they should have been. Given the usual ratio of 1 like per 10 views, Joonie should have had almost 2 million views in that first hour--the man was robbed. I didn't get screen shots of that, but kept the ones from Jin's album release --same thing happened. You wouldn't believe all the tactics ARMY adopts in an effort to have our streaming look non-bot, but it really reduces enjoyment. After all, when Arirang was released, the natural thing to do was play the album straight through, right? Well, that's supposedly bot behavior. Makes me so mad that I can't just enjoy their music in peace but have to think about crap like this.

Why? Because it’s literally the music BUSINESS. They need to maximize profits from their artists, artists who are contractually bound to them.

There’s a scene in "The Social Network" where Mark and Sean talk about how they don’t want a million dollars; they want a BILLION dollars. They’re not interested in catching 14 trout when they could go after a 3,000-pound marlin.

Well, THAT marlin is BTS.

This is a group from a company virtually no one had heard of 10 years ago that took on Goliath and managed to dominate the American music industry on their own terms.

BTS represents the kind of artist the entertainment industry has repeatedly tried to reshape, commercialize, and control but has miserably failed to do so because BTS and their team aren’t sellouts. Over the years, both their label and the group have remained remarkably grounded in their art and their supporters. They built an audience without having to completely conform to the industry’s existing blueprint.

So the industry’s mentality becomes: if you can’t join them, beat them. If you can’t beat them, change the rules. And if you can’t change the rules anymore, rig the game.

That’s why the constant shifting of goalposts and perceived attempts to undermine their achievements have had an effect the industry may not have anticipated: they’ve made music consumers QUESTION the system itself.

And THAT'S the industry’s biggest fear: losing the trust of the people who consume the music.

There's nothing wrong with you sharing long thoughts on BTS. We actually hope more people react like this because you will find some reactors just staring at the screen with absolutely zero thoughts and call it a reaction.. They are actually making money from BTS and have zero interest. I love that you talk in between, to share your thoughts. That's wholesome to me.
Also, now it has gotten way better especially after their military service.. because at first people were like oh they are just a group, a weird phenomenon, that will go away after they break apart or something, which didn't happen as they hoped obviously. I see some non fans commenting oh BTS is still a thing in 2026(as if they are some trend) after BTS came back from the military, not realising that they actually never left, they were just making solo music.
Considering liking BTS weird is also rooted in how the industry portrays them.. The western interviewers when they interviewed BTS's latest album producers, they asked some backhanded shady questions, how was it like working with k-pop, something new or how did it go or work out? Then the producers had to defend BTS by saying that how people see them that they are some company controlled people or trained artists and not real artists is not right at all. They are real artists, they know what they are doing, they write their own thing, they select their own songs for the album, and are totally involved on their own.. they had to explain they are super talented not just some group for younger audience.
recently BTS performed at iHeartRadio award show, so the show had huge sound issues about which the Armys complained heavily.. because BTS were the headliners, the day 1 seats were full unlike day 2 when BTS was not performing and BTS was made to perform at the end. So we atleast hoped for a nice management of the show.. BTS still did absolutely nice. But some random radio show guy, acted completely unprofessional calling armys a bunch of losers, and being racist by mocking jungkook by saying jang f- k jin k whatever his name is just for audience having complaints about a show(he just apologized today btw). All of this is rooted in racism and misogyny because the fandom's majority are females. The ratio is probably 7:3 or 6:4 idk..Anything liked by girls isn't considered as cool as anything liked by boys, which is so true whether ppl agree to it or not. Football fans are fans, but BTS fans are crazy 15 yr old girls.
Idk why people think about it so much? BTS are just musicians making music, sharing good message and obviously very humble human beings. I laugh when I see random people commenting eww BTS which makes absolutely no sense..and it has no effect on BTS now like before.
A fun fact:- John Cena is an ARMY, my boy is a 15 yr old girl😂

just to add we have been FIGHTING for views on the BTS MVs for YEARS and swim, 2.0, hooligan, merry go round and normal has been out for 6 months and we're still struggling to get the views we used to get, because youtube LOVES to claim we're bot views and delete millions of the views we've accumulated with actual sit down and watch views

39:17 bts has a sold out all stadium tour (not just arenas, theatres it’s stadiums) that’s how big they’re , in every concert they’ve 50k+ attendees, and the industry is trying to make us believe that the fans that actually stream are bots and not real people which is crazy, all the attendees in their concerts sing their song word by word . Most of the attendees if not all , have lightsticks and their albums.
