  Hi, I&apos;m Fril, the organiser of the Game Over for Dementia weekend. That banner was made for my event and the decision to use it was mine. Skizz had no part in making it and no say in whether it was used. He was a special guest who kindly gave up his time for free to come and play.<br><br>The weekend raised close to £10,000 for dementia research, largely thanks to his involvement.<br><br>Happy for anyone to disagree with me about AI art but that should be aimed at me, not at him.

  I&apos;m scared that because skizz is too pure for this world that he is going to willingly remove himself from the hermitcraft server because that&apos;s the type of dude he is, he cares too much and would throw himself in front of a bullet to protect anything he loves and cherishes, he doesn&apos;t deserve this. This is fucking bullshit. Skizz is one of the best human beings this works could ask for.

  I am disabled and in a wheelchair. I had watched that moment between Scar and Skizz through Scars stream and did not feel offended by it. It is the heartbreaking truth. Even with a caregiver coming in daily to help me I end up a gross mess that even I have the feeling of &quot;ew&quot; about when they are cleaning me up. It is a lot of work to handle me every day and I appreciate the people who do help me oh so much. It feels depriving to have people hush up and not talk about it like I don&apos;t exist. Sometimes morbid jokes make me feel noticed as a human, rather than just a &quot;Wheelchair Person&quot; that is taboo to talk about. I am sure if Skizz ever went to far about jokes with Scar that they would reflect on it and work things out, they are more then just coworkers, they are friends.

  I&apos;m here to Defend Skizz cuz that dude is so careful around Scar to the point it&apos;s easy to tell that he&apos;s not ableist, huge chance it&apos;s just friendly banter or atleast the type of banter he would be doing with his dad cuz some guy friends throws jabs here and there, like Joel insulting Jimmy as a joke/friendly banter

  … I’m pretty sure that if any of the hermit’s felt uncomfortable about Skizz and his jokes they would have said something about it too him the hermit’s don’t seem to be the kind of people who would keep what makes them uncomfortable to themselves I mean the hermit’s play games together before adding new members as well<br><br>Edit: the main reason I mention this is there’s a TommyInnit video out there where he tries to get Grian to swear in which I’m pretty sure Grian threatens to end the video on multiple occasions within it…

  Guys this is so ridiculous. Skizz is literally one of the sweetest hermits. Like majority of the fan base call him a dad to like Gem and Grian and such. Like come on guys. Let’s be realistic people just want controversy on Hermitcraft because it’s famous for NOT having controversy. Let’s stop being ludicrous and just let people live their lives.

  The jokes aren&apos;t even that &quot;dark.&quot; He is just jokingly saying his dad is always dirty because he is sick and he can&apos;t move. Like, what about that is ableist? And he isn&apos;t talking about suicide, my god; he is talking about depression and stuff, and he is telling Scar that despite having a disability, he is a very positive person, and it doesn&apos;t seem to take away anything from his life, and that is a sign of strength. Yes, a disability is an inherently negative thing; that isn&apos;t ableism; it is reality. It is in the name &quot;disability&quot;; it implies you aren&apos;t able to do something that you otherwise should be able to. And being able to deal with that so well is a strength. Let&apos;s not forget Skizz has severe issues of his own; he has a chronic, progressive neurological condition which can itself be classified as a disability depending on severity. Hopefully it doesn&apos;t get that bad for him any time soon.
