  There are things in the woods here in rural southern Illinois that are much scarier than any human could ever be. <br>I was 10yrs old in 1987 and like most kids who grew up in small town USA back in the 70s and 80s i felt completely safe while outside playing, if the weather was good (or even remotely survivable) we were outside playing, as kids we would wake up, throw our shoes on and be out the door, one morning i got out of bed a little late to discover that my older brother had woke up early and was already gone, I threw my shoes on and out the door I went to find him, as i was walking around town looking for him and or any other potential playmates i came to a road that ran alongside a fairly dense patch of woods, as i was walking along i heard movement in the brush next to the road, i stopped and turned to the woods to see what was making the sound and what happened next will never be forgotten, after a few more seconds of movement from the brush what i can only describe as the most impossibility huge &quot;wolf head&quot; came pushing through the brush and of course it was staring directly at me! I was frozen stiff, i couldn&apos;t breathe, this thing was staring aat me and it was not &quot;normal&quot;. It was probably 30&apos; away but it&apos;s face was eye level with mine, i knew it wasn&apos;t a dog and i knew that I was in danger, &nbsp;just when i thought it couldn&apos;t get any worse it &quot;tore&quot; out or the woods towards me, I cant remember details of its body (mental block caused by trauma?) but I can say that when it approached me in the road i was looking up at its face! It was gigantic and it looked like it wanted to kill me and i pissed all over myself, idk why it didn&apos;t take me but one second it was in my face and the next it was crashing into the woods on the opposite side of the road, i ran home crying and my mom says that i was white and violently shaking, i told her that &quot;a werewolf tried to take me&quot; and she didn&apos;t know what to say. This story is 100% true and idc who believes me, these things are real.

  I’ve gotta say, I listen to a lot of horror stories and this is the ONLY channel that can actually creep me out regularly. The rest just don’t hit the same

  The person who wrote about the date that had no sense of humor absolutely did the right thing. Always trust your instinct. If a situation does not feel right a majority of the time it is not right.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpsDdaH696s&amp;t=960">16:00</a> story sounds like seizure auras/partial seizures. I experience the exact same feelings before/during seizures. There&apos;s different types of seizures and some are just one area of your brain firing off, you don&apos;t lose consciousness or anything like that but you experience phantom smells/tastes and your body can feel very restless and odd, and it&apos;s really common to have intense anxiety/sense of dread and doom, the feeling that something is wrong or different in a way you can&apos;t explain, deja vu, or sudden strong emotions of fear, anger, euphoria, etc. I had partial seizures for years and never knew I was having seizures until I was in my 30s.

  Love the stories… problem is I listen to them before bed and usually fall asleep half way through! So it takes me several attempts to finish! 😆😎

  I have such terrible insomnia. &nbsp;You have no idea how much these stories help me to find sleep &amp; as I wake every 2 hours they put me back to sleep again. Thank you 🙏🏻
