There are a few fights that stand out in your life, and watching Maidana here for the first time years ago still to this day is a real stand out for me.  No Quit in him.  I think Ortiz just wilted under the constant pressure from Maidana, the total physicality of the fight, leaning and wrestling each other, as well as his first headline appearance.  Maidana has that power that just hurts, and he hit Ortiz to the body, the arms, shoulders, neck, head, and just broke Ortiz down.  Ortiz was never the same mentally after this fight.  A prime Maidana was trouble for anyone.

This is what boxing is about, 2 warriors who have the heart of a Lion, putting it all on the line, to provide for their families.
