Great research and presentation just to make things clear Maham Begum was appointed by Babur as his chief consort and the very first recipient of the formalized title.Khanzada Begum (Post-1530): Following Maham Begum's death and the transition of power, Babur's elder sister Khanzada Begum was elevated to the rank of Badshah Begum. She held it during the early, turbulent reign of her nephew, Emperor Humayun, to maintain family unity and political stability.While Khanzada Begum is often celebrated as the most historically prominent early holder due to her dramatic life and diplomatic interventions, Maham Begum was chronologically the first to bear it.
