This video relates to what I did back in my school days. Usually, I would watch cartoons on WPIX (Channel 11) and WNEW (Channel 5). There are a bunch I can remember:

Looney Tunes / Merrie Melodies, Popeye, Woody Woodpecker, Mighty Mouse / Heckle & Jeckle, Dastardly and Mutley in the Flying Machines, Wacky Races, The Perrils of Penelope Pitstop, Hanna-Barbera's World of Super Adventure, The Pink Panther and Friends, Battle of the Planets (Gatchaman Force), Starblazers (Space Battleship Yamoto), Superfriends, the MGM cartoons with Tom & Jerry, the Filmation cartoons with Superman, Batman, The Atom, The Flash, The Green Lantern, et al. As well as Journey to the Center of the Earth and Fantastic Voyage.

I also remember playing games and toys like Hot Wheels and Matchbox and some other toys I couldn't think of right now. Oh yeah, I just thought of one "Black Hole in Space." When we got a video game console (RCA Studio 2), that was... how can I say it... a "Game Changer!" Looking back, I think we could've done better with an Atari 2600. Oh well!

There came a day when I got a Commodore VIC-20. Then, a Commodore 64. Then, an Amiga 500... and 1200. Then, a Windows based computer. Yep, I'm a computer hobbyist, as well as computer savvy.

WELL, that was more to say than what I expected! 🛑Maybe I'll stop here.🛑

Those lunchable sizes sure have shrunken over the years. Back then they used to feed us well for 2$. Now the shrunk down size cost $2 😢

I'm definitely familiar with Disney Afternoon. I also remember getting taken to Disney on Ice where some of those Disney Afternoon characters were performing in 1994. Although I was more of a Fox Kids child. Tiny Toons was my jam.

I was a Fox Kid because we didn't have cable, and that was easily the hardest channel to pick up with the rabbit ears.

Had to finish my homework before I could go outside and meet my friends for a game of football or basketball after school. Hardly ever watched TV after school unless it was raining. Always outside, something you don't see anymore.

We lived...WE...LIVED! Our imaginations! Board games, toys...REAL GAMES AND REAL PHYSICAL TOYS! collectible cards and card games, simple handhelds, comic books, the high age of television from the mid 1984-2005 ish...Old school video games. And PEOPLE! Family and friends. Mixing it up; getting out there and meeting people, travelling, reading books...YES...BOOKS! The agents in The Matrix were right: "Humanity PEAKED in the 1990s". IM paraphrasing, btu thats basically exactly what Mr.Smith said :P. Blessed we lived through those times, and knew all the people I knew and liked! ^<^
