Mets stumble, Nolan McLean & Carson Benge strut, plus Aiden Robbins stops by the show | The Mets Pod

On the latest episode of The Mets Pod, Connor Rogers and Joe DeMayo turn to the youth for positivity as the Mets turn down the light a bit on the 2026 season. Despite a down week for the team, the guys see an up week for the National League Rookie of the Year cases for both Nolan McLean and Carson Benge. The Mets Pod Answering Machine shouts out voicemails about the bullpen and the solid catching situation, then Joe sits down for an exclusive interview with 2026 Mets third-round draft pick Aiden Robbins, as the outfielder gets his pro journey started at Single-A St. Lucie. The show wraps up with a Mailbag that unwraps questions about Tobias Myers, the struggles of prospect Ryan Clifford, and protection decisions ahead of the Rule 5 Draft.
