  I always find it sad when inn owners put their heart and soul keeping their family traditions alive but to little avail. I hope they get more visitors during tourist season. Perhaps this beautifully made video will result in additional guests.

  It is necessary to tell about places like this. People wanting unique experience away from the tourist crowd will be interested. As you said Fujisan area is super crowded, but this village is not. And this ryokan has friendly service, amazing healthy food, nice clean rooms and great forest hiking nearby. The more people know the more may decide to come and revive it. You are dong a very important job.

  あまりメディアに出てこない所だと思いますが、何気に拝見したらとても良かった！いい宿でしたね、お食事もお風呂も良く、ご家族もいい方達でした。2，3日のんびりしたいお宿でした。

  Thank you so much, I&apos;m glad you can enjoy and share these secluded, less touristy places. Japan is full of such hidden gems, and this simpler, more understated style, with owners who provide personalized service, is truly wonderful. For me, this rural side, so connected to nature, is what surprises and amazes me most about Japan, and of course, the fact that everyone is so polite and quiet. Even in Tokyo, I tend to wander more through the neighborhoods and their traditional streets than the typical tourist hotspots.
