Nearly 20 years later it's still a great looking game.

i never realized how lucky i was. my intro to gaming was cod4 and cod5, bf2 and bf3, command and conquer generals, command and conquer 3, kanes wrath, red alert, etc., spore, assassins creed, assassins creed 2, civilization 5, total war: shogun 2, simcity 4... all of these absolute gems were not only my first real video games, but they were all made by publishers that now pump out garbage. what the hell happened 😂

Random thought: I like to think that all fans agree that Tiberium 4 was just our collective hallucination

Seems like most gaming these days is just trying to recapture that lighting in a bottle, this game was the hurricane =)

5:45 talking about the benefits of the reverse move and the pred driving in reverse towards the enemy is crazy. Always was a charm of the game

This, Ground Control, World in Conflict and Warcraft/Starcraft was my childhood, and is still my adulthood, because to this day I continue to dive into them.

2007 was one of the best years for RTS with Supreme Commander and it's standalone expansion Forged Alliance releasing the same year, CNC3 Tiberium Wars, World In conflict and Company of Heroes released it's opposing fronts expansion. Open RA and MegaGlest mods also launched that year. The Spring Engine and Warzone 2100 started getting heavy community attraction during that time too.

The best year for gaming in almost all genres frankly.

C&C 3 was my first RTS game, I still remember how my dad bought a DVD disc on PC and I spent all day playing it. From that day a little Russian boy loved RTS games and the entire C&C series.

Command and Conquer always managed to scratch a certain itch. No matter the style of gameplay you could always have a great experience beating and experimenting with the games.
