  Hearing both of you (and particularly Alan, as a fellow home cook!) describe food is such a joy. So informative and well-spoken in a way that's not just "omg this is so good" or "yuck." That's so helpful when there are literally hundreds of options and you couldn't possibly eat them all in one trip, so you gotta make your choices count.

  Alan!! I am first generation Mexican America and I make traditional Mexican cafe de olla regularly, especially during the holidays. The recipe is incredibly simple if you can secure the right ingredients. You need &nbsp;a piloncillo cone, cloves, star anise, cinnamon sticks and coffee of your choice. <br><br>Boil all ingredients together in a pot until the poloncillo dissolves, then add the coffee and cut the heat. Let brew until all the coffee grounds have settled to the bottom and it’s ready to serve. <br><br>(Bonus: break the cinnamon sticks for better flavor and you can use Joffery’s coffee for molly.   HUGE Merida and Brave fan here, and gosh that cafe makes me tear up seeing it! The art on the light is not just the bears— it’s specifically the pendant Eleanor passes down to Merida, that Merida then uses to pay for the witch’s spell.
