I still can't fathom how you are able to manage a top notch restaurant and casually produce some of the best, most authentic food content on youtube, it's incredible.

I’ve been a chef at Hasselbacken for two years, cranking out hasselback potatoes with amandine spuds as the star of our amuse-bouche every single day. Don’t even try to count how many—I’ve lost track somewhere in the thousands. Now? I never want to lay eyes on another hasselback potato again in my life! XD

As an American, I'd like to just say that the credit for that potato should really go to the Canadians. They cultivated this variety . Love the video though ( and Yukon Golds! Thank you Canada)

Swedishs hef here. Didn't even know this was a swedish dish haha I think the majority of Swedes use a wodden spoon, or put two choppsticks next to the potato on both sides in order to stop the knife go all the way through. Personally I just wing it and I also do smaller slices for extra crispyness but thats me. Most people just throw them in the oven in butter and baste them with butter every now and then, some also add cheese on top before serving. So that is the basic method... This looks extremely intresting, thanks for learning me about my culture and giving me a next lvl recepie to try out!👍
