  Galaxy 1 and Unleashed are my favortie games for two reasons. Best soundtrack in their respective series and a beautifully told story that the series never could reach ever again

  As an illustrator/ animator/storyteller/ theme park enthusiast……. My favorite Mario 3d game was and is Sunshine . It is a rare time I 100% a Mario game because  I was just that invested .

  Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 for me are the peak of 3D Mario Games, sure they might be linear, but that linearity is what makes these games feel like a very big adventure, without forgetting that the Visuals still hold up to this day and the soundtrack is peak, and the best thing about this game is:<br><br><br>&quot;You can now play as Luigi&quot;.

  I made a poll asking my fans what is the best 3D Mario game and they precisely told me Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 and I&apos;m actually surprised that it&apos;s considered the best 3D Mario game from their point of view.

  I remember playing Galaxy 1 for the first time last year and being in complete shock when I found out Rosalina&apos;s mom died. God I love Galaxy 1 so much.

  Galaxy 1 is an incredibly important game to me, as I consider it the first &quot;real&quot; video game I&apos;d ever played (i.e. not PC Edutainment stuff, Wii Shovelware, or Wii Sports). I would be a very different person today if I hadn&apos;t watched my cousin play it on his birthday all those years ago and asked for it myself.
