I had a model Y performance lease scheduled for delivery earlier this month. Lucid was able to get me a better deal on a Gravity Touring 7 seater charcoal grey with stealth package. It was a no brainer

just took delivery of a Touring with all of the options you've recommended. So far it's the dream family car, and hope it lasts long enough for your elementary school age kids to leave the nest (no, we don't plan on sending them to boarding school 😜)

Ever since I got my Optiq, I've been rather fond of HUDs.  I know... in the video, he says "what's the point?", and honestly... I might've said that before too.  However, the difference is that you pretty much never have to glance away from the windshield, and that's really the main advantage.  I have heard other people have negative opinions on the Gravity's HUD, which makes me even more curious to see it.  A HUD will result in a reflection on your screen, but if done right, it should be somewhat minimal.  In the Optiq, I get a black square that I'd say... feels like 20% transparency?<br><br>My main gripe with Lucid and its packages is that I think the vast majority of the Comfort and Convenience Package should be baseline.  I heard that they added it into the Grand Touring, but I believe the article mentioned that the price went up along with that?  Not entirely sure if that's true though.  Anyway, it just seems silly to have a car at that price point without something like a heated steering wheel by default.  It's one of those things where you just know some folks in balmy California made the decision instead of someone that has to deal with cooler weather.

I got my '26 gravity two months ago and love it.  White GT with everything but the towing package.  First thing I did was have the aero wheel covers removed at the tire store.  The second thing I did was turn off HUD - it is SO bad!  Previous owner of a Model X and MB EQS SUV, so I have a lot of things to compare.

Our 2027 with HUD does have plastic glare for me but my shorter wife likes it.  I'm 6 foot 1" tall and she is 5 ft 1" tall.  I place a square piece of black felt over it to stop the glare.  I'm curious if the glare will be worth the lane overlays which are promised to be forthcoming.

Some of the packages seem way too much cost but would be silly not to have on a car so expensive.  I would never tow but maybe want the bike rack later for kids?  DD pro expensive and risky in terms of expected features.  <br>I see the 2 year leases become attractive sometime, I've been toying with ordering a  touring w only massage seats as a cheapish way to experience and hedge risk. Cross shopping with a R2

The touring vs GT has been my biggest personal question. I don’t road trip so am I just considering the GT just because the battery. I do not need 800hp, so I’m slowly thinking that a touring will be good enough for my use case transporting 4 kids.
