  I had the privilege to walk up and into the Falcon during the shooting for Force Awakens. I used to work for Lucasfilm and was on set for a few days. The Falcon was kept in a separate sound stage at Pinewood Studios. One of the most memorable moments of my life.

  It's crazy that the coolest thing ever, doesn't really exist. The Falcon and Darth Vader are why I love Star Wars so much. The Falcon is the chariot of the Rebellion!

  Years ago when I was a kid with plenty of drive and time I made a 22 inch model of the Falcon.   I improved it immensely out of the box with diorama skills and an led array and it took maybe 8 months to build, paint, stain, damage (on purpose) and then hang in my bedroom.   Was very proud of it.   After I left home my mum was cleaning the house and threw it away as it was "just hanging there being dusty" and that was the end of that.   I love my mum, but she has no idea she came to the end of her life!!!

  Could have had a full model with full interior made up then made it into a tourist attraction.

  The Falcon appears in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo during the battle of Sector 001 in Star Trek: First Contact.

  The asteroid field scene is my favourite scene in all of Star Wars. The flacon, being chased by the empire, asteroids and of course THE MUSIC. Best music in all of star wars

  Nothing new to me but I just cannot resist watching a video about the Falcon. This video however does feature way more than the basic background information. Well done!
