Nolan's redemption story has to be in the top 5 of redemption strories. Up there with Zuko and Piccolo.

The entire time I was only staring at thraggs hairline. How does he keep that thing so crisp?

Nolan isn't son but Grandson of argall. Confirmed in the series.

Kregg is way more chill in the show compared too the comics he doesn’t have those violent outbursts

I see how Nolan's ancestry could be lost in comics (hidden) as child. Harder to explain in series.
Anyway with such small number of surviving viltrumites Thragg could've just tested everyone's blood and find scions of Argall.
Maybe he didn't want to do that, a soft coupe

Why do people keep saying Nolan tried escaping the viltumite prison before execution? That was his inspection to make sure he was at peak physical condition and fully healed because as an act of respect they only kill their own if they are fully healed so they had to make sure he was strong enough that’s why kreig says “good you passed your inspection, you’re ready for execution”

13:22 that’s a really interesting retcon for the show tbh. After seeing Conquest begging to be executed and being denied that because Thragg will not “reward failure” is just so more interesting than the cliche subordinate begging to be spared.
