  During his youth, this man saw and interacted with people born in the 1700s. During his last years, he got to hear The Beatles stirring up the world. Let that sink in.

  When I was born in 1993, my mother took me to meet her grandfather, who was born in 1899. He died one year later.<br>I don&apos;t remember anything about that meeting, but even today I am impressed that I was in the same room as someone born in the 1800&apos;s

  1858 he was born. &nbsp;To think of the changes between then and 1965. &nbsp;Basically, the modern world grew up around him!<br>Just incredible.

  Imagine that in 1868 when he was 10, he would&apos;ve met someone born most likely in the 1780&apos;s or 90&apos;s.

  This guy was amazingly healthy for 107 years old. &nbsp;His mind was still working incedibly well. &nbsp;It&apos;s crazy to think that someone can live so long and still be this alert and clear-headed.

  I know people are mentioning all the events that happened around the world that this man witnessed, but are missing out on all he witnessed closer to home. This man experienced Ireland gaining their independence from Britain! Being born shortly after the Great Irish Famine, to watching the Irish buy back most of their land from British landlords by the turn of the 20th century to a short lived rebellion in 1916 and finally witnessing a full republic by 1949! What a life!
