Konoha is so overpowered that it had to be nerfed by sucking at HR.
Think at just how many villains either came from Konoha or became villains because of Konoha.
If not for that, Konoha would have demolished the other villages.

Because most of the plot happens there and Kishimoto's bad at large scale worldbuilding. Next question.

Real answer is probably cuz kishimoto didn't want to bother fleshing the other villages out, but inlore answer is probably the fact that the two people who made the leaf village were the reincarnations of basically demi gods.

The land of fire have a lot of fertile lands, that provides the leaf with a reliable source of food and money, making the konoha ninjas healthier and stronger. That leads to Kohoha getting better missions, getting richier and getting better training while other villages like the sand are in economic crisis, getting weaker, poor and desperate.

Or maybe, if the senju really mixed with the other clans in konoha, then the explanation for konoha ninjas being stronger is really just "hashirama cells"

The irony in all of this, is that Konoha’s biggest strength it’s also the reason for its downfall. Mfs on the leaf would rather kill they neighbors over the pettiest shit than to unify to conquer the shinobi world ✌️😭

Having your village build by a dude with the nickname "god of shinobi" gives you a nice little boost.

possibly, since Konoha was the very first village to be formed, its safe to assume that many clans choose to join them right away, and for other villages since they were formed later, the clans that joined them are the leftovers clans that are possibly less organized than those that joins Konoha
