  Between the DW retirement tour video, the one about Benson and Tyler Jet, Three Before February and now this one, Brock loves talking about the 2000 season, and I love learning about it.

  One thing I’m confused by is why Greg Ray was such a hot commodity in NASCAR. Maybe is was because people saw how well Stewart did and they thought that Ray could do just as well.

  I wish NASCAR would go back to the way it used to be for Daytona I missed the preseason Thunder in mid January . The excitement and anticipation for the Daytona 500 and I always convince my mom to let me skip school so I can watch the Gatorade duel on Thursday afternoon

  Why nascar has NEVER done a deep dive like this before is amazing to me.<br>The fact we start at the end of the 1999 season and we go through everything leading up to the most anticipated and what will be the saddest Daytona 500 in 2001, is one hell of a ride.<br>Awesome awesome work.<br>Would love to see you do the same thing to any of the following:<br>The end of Dale Jr at DEI.<br>The COT car.<br>The 2004 Nextel Cup season.

  2000 truly was a massive turning point for NASCAR…that nearly 2 hours flew by! So much information that even my OCD brain is like “woah, got enough details”…especially as someone who has gotten back into NASCAR in recent years (used to be a Carl Edwards fan as a teen). Love your videos and use of relevant b-roll video instead of just photos!

  Insane how detailed and well researched this is. 2000 was right around the time I started getting into NASCAR as a kid so I was following the weekly races but never knew about all the behind the scenes action until years later thanks to channels like yours. Always learn something new with your videos!
