  He’s won everything in football. He won the World Cup, 2 Euro Cups, the Champions League, the Europa League and league titles. That’s a better career than many of the greats

  He delivered in the biggest games, he scored in two consecutive euros final, the semi final goal against barca, goal in the europa league final, every big moment, he delivered.. Put some respect to this man Fernando Torres.. What a player, one of greatest of the game

  I'm an Arsenal fan, not a Liverpool fan, but dear God I loved watching this man play.  He's still one of my top 5 PL strikers ever.  He had EVERYTHING!

  I loved watching Torres at Liverpool he was amazing. He seamed to know where Gerrard was going to put the ball and Gerrard know where Torres was going to be almost telepathic

  Gerrard and Torres was simply unplayable at times. <br>Gerrard would always find the pass, Torres would find the space with speed and directness. GOAL

  It was 2008 and i was about 10 years old when i asked my aunt to get me a manchester jersey for my birthday. she knew nothing about football so she mistakenly got me a liverpool jersey, i was disapointed for about a week until liverpool would face manchester in may and torres would give me reason to wear that shirt. Im still a proud liverpool man till this day and through the years we&apos;ve had great stars come and go but theres really nothing that can compete with the long sleeve, long hair headband torres era. the streets will never forget el nino.
