City escape is the only first stage in a sonic game that i cared to replay way after completing everything else in the game. And I didn't even grow up with the adventure games.

The funny thing is 1-1 from sonic frontiers is actually windmill isle act 1, it just had like green hill’s aesthetics

I'd like to remind everyone that Shadow Generations' first level is based on Final Rush, which was Sonic's last level in Adventure 2. Not Final Chase, which was Shadow's last level...
