  Always love seeing you in Japan, and especially with Riechan. Izakaya (居酒屋) literally means &quot;sitting sake shop.&quot; Okonomiyaki (お好み焼き) means &quot;cooked as you would like,&quot; the first kanji being suki (好き), like the currently popular &quot;Rubichan! Hai! Nani ga suki?&quot; meme. Okonomiyaki sauce (referred to as Bulldog sauce often) is surprisingly easy to make. Just Worchestershire sauce, ketchup (!), and some honey. Glad you had a good time!

  Always good when Rie chan appears. Japan definitely feels less budget food wise these days. First time I went was 2016, now it&apos;s so touristy

  The $100 a day challenge is a great idea! If you can try the same in other countries or a $50 food and shopping challenge in a suburb or Japanese countryside would be great too. <br><br>For the budget-minded traveler is it possible to eat out and travel Japan on $20 or $30 a day?<br><br>By the way, the long hair and baseball cap reminds me of Ash Ketcham.
