I was born in 92 and no matter how the world has turned about the music, this was art and joy to dance together without worries and posting it in social media. That's why I always search for this kind of mixes to show this generation the art of DJing and true dance.

Aldo Marin has what is very likely one of the greatest disco-edit mega mixes of all time on here. He killed it. So many highlights. 🔥

The Latin Rascals, Jim "Chopper" Cohn, John "Jellybean" Benitez, Aldo Marin, Jose "The Animal" Diaz...all heroes of mine in the 80s! Miss all of these incredible mix maestros and the soundscapes they played for our enjoyment!

When they let things play on for awhile, such as the drums on “At Midnight” or the electronic breaks of “Home Computer”, part of me switches back to the present and becomes anxious for the short of attention span. Then I remember how those used to be my favorite parts of these mixes. I was too young to buy records, so the radio was king in my life, and those long breaks and transitions in the songs gave me a sense of anticipation, like “I’m gonna listen to see what happens after that 3-minute drum break”.
