That was a great interview, I personally own four Wired bikes, all of them have been perfect, and one an issue has arrived. Wired has always help me figure it out and also send me parts to replace that weren’t working properly, I totally support the Wired E Bike Company and will continue to use them for any future bikes. Their customer service is always been excellent, , keep up the good work !! Wired 😊

This is great! I have been ebiking since 2011 and making vids of my builds the whole time. My daily driver is a Wired Freedom. The way it looks like a regular bicycle, but has a little bit of extra power and range, is just what i wanted in a bike. In my 14 years of daily riding ebikes, and especially with the early years being all self builds, i have imagined what i would want my perfect ebike to be. This dude went and made it. I waited months for my Freedom and i love it!!! Seeing the CEO talk about it just reinforces the idea that i have a great bike.

I really like the fact that the CEO was willing to sit down and answer all of these questions in the name of transparency. Wired has been on the leading edge of the e-bike world in the last few years and is not afraid to take risks in creating their high-performance e-bikes. That is admirable. We see what the milk-toast brands produce year after year and the bikes are un-inspiring.

But the company has real problems.

One of the biggest problems Wired has is their pre-order process and the non-stop barrage of lies delivered throughout. Get rid of pre-orders and take responsibility for the shipping of your bikes. Do not promise a bike to any customer until it is on American soil. Do not sell a bike until it is on U.S. soil. Lying to your customer is about as toxic as a company can be. I do not trust Wired and nobody should after all the pre-order lies and delays.

Second, your social media presence is absolutely toxic. The facebooks forums run by the likes of corporate-fascist-cowards like Tim JT and Joe Lelah are absolutely DEVOID of any semblance of free speech. Anybody who speaks out legitimately criticizing Wired ebikes is removed from the forums. Nobody should trust ANYONE or ANYTHING that they read on those forums as there are so many cowardly fan-girls and Wired-only dogmatists that REACT to any criticism of Wired like it's some sort of personal attack. This creates an absolutely toxic environment that will absolutely HURT the sale of Wired ebikes. I can say that it caused me to pull my business with Wired and MANY others have told me that they have chosen to PASS on wired bikes because of this bullshit.

Finally, drop the attitude from customer service...especially on pre-orders. If you don't want my order, don't take it. But don't threaten to cancel my order 10 seconds after I ask for a simple shipping update. Correct the shitty attitude of your employees.

He's so very right about bike shops. I had so many issues with my aventon sinch 2.0 when I discovered a flaw in the controller I contacted aventon and took it to an authorized Bike shop dealer in their network. the bike shop basically told aventon i was making stuff up and when I got my replacement bike they charged aventon to put the bike together but they didn't do anything they didn't even adjust the brakes or clean the brake pads it was clearly not touched at all even the tires had low air pressure they didn't even bother to put air in the tires out of the box......😮 When they did the recall of the controllers i bet that bike shop owner felt no remorse for calling me a liar
