I wasn’t born a coal miners daughter but I was born a grand daughter of a coal miner. I’m the middle child of 7 and we were as poor as dirt. My sister recently said “ because of Dolly Parton we weren’t embarrassed to be called hillbillies”. <br>My siblings and I have worked most of our lives for one employer. I’ll end this by repeating her words…… “Dolly.. we will always love you”. ❤

My dad can’t read but he is the hardest worker I’ve ever known. Everything Dolly said about her dad is exactly like my dad. He can build and fix anything! Reading is something most of us take for granted. Daddy always said if he could read he could have done anything!

You can't say enough to honor Dolly. She was a beam of sunshine, and I could have a bad day and play one of her songs and it would pull me right out of that bad day. RIP Miss Dolly, your so missed!

I first heard Miss Dolly when she performed on The Porter Wagner show. She was one of my favorite singers and I watched all of her televised shows ever since. I’m going to miss you so much, but I know you’re happy I’m paradise. May G-d bless your memory Miss Dolly. 💔💔💔
