More than anything else, 2 things:

You need to ask God to teach you (see Ps 119:18), because “these things are spiritually discerned” (1 Cor 2:14).

You must be willing to obey what He says: “ if anyone wills to do the will of God, he will know whether the teaching is from God” (Jn 17:7). God doesn’t speak to us just to give us head knowledge. He speaks so that we will hear and obey so that we can walk with Him.

The Holy Spirit is bigger than the algorithm but He used it to deliver this message to me today.

I heard "abide in me!" like a whisper from within and now I have happy tears.

When I was young, I was usually into my ‘feelings’. Now, as an adult, I apply the scriptures that are in my brain. 🙌🏼

I feel the genuine listening was my downfall. I was praying the other day, well talking to God as I always do and my son sent me a short video from The AF in the UK that spoke about silence and just building the relationship spending quiet time with him and receiving from him. Bam, now I finally got the missing peace. If you knew the situation and where my son was then you would see the mircle in this answer!! I love you FATHER GOD, JESUS, HOLY SPIRIT!! GRATEFUL FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE FOR ME. THE PEACE THAT SURPASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING!

Few days ago was thinking within myself; how do I hear from God, how do I discern the voice in my head from the voice of God. And today I find this... He is guiding me.
New subscriber 🙏🏾

This is complicated, if you want to hear GOD more clearly, spend time in HIS word and build a relationship with HIM! It is just like your children, because you have relationship with them, when another child says mommy help me, you don't go running thinking it's your child. It's the same way with GOD, the more time you spend with HIM the easier it will be to discern HIS voice!
You remember when HE called you to Salvation, you did not mistake HIS voice, continue to build relation with HIM and you will discern HIM more easily.
Lastly if you find yourself in need, be wise like Peter and yell out LORD help me! That is where all of your help comes from!
Isaiah 41:13 says, I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, fear not , I will help thee!
